What we are recruiting for

At VVB, we are currently recruiting for a Recruitment and Talent Advisor to deliver and manage Emerging Talent Strategies for the business including Graduate, Apprentice, and Industrial Placement schemes. They will work closely with HR colleagues to ensure the provision of a seamless and joined up end to end recruitment service to the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Working with the key stakeholders within VVB, to understand key resource requirements and to ensure seamless recruitment in line with these requirements.
- Devising and implementing recruitment plans, campaigns and activity within agreed deadlines ensuring that recruiting managers are properly consulted and informed.
- Managing and developing recruitment processes, ensuring that all recruitment activity is in line with the recruitment policy: coaching and advising managers in the implementation of robust recruitment and selection processes.
- Working with 3rd party providers for the management of recruitment, including LinkedIn, Totaljobs and Indeed.
- Overseeing the use of internal and external job advertisement sites to ensure information provided is accurate and complies with site regulations/protocols.
- Create, develop, and implement an Internal Vacancy Policy and Process
- Supporting senior stakeholders with their recruitment requirements; attending interviews as required and advising panels as appropriate.
- Implement monitoring systems to ensure cost targets are met and suggest improvements
- Continually monitor resourcing processes, suggesting continuous improvement
- Act as first point of contact for all resourcing issues and matters
- Work with the SHRBP and line managers to suggest changes to roles/structures to ensure fresh talent is being identified and development. Challenge existing practices and suggest new ways of working.
- Work with line managers on the development of Job Descriptions and person specifications for new and existing positions within the business
- Work closely with business mentors to ensure all Emerging Talent employees are meeting expectations and performing to the highest standard.
- Work closely with the GHRD and SHRBP on the implementation of a graduate scheme.
- Work closely with the GHRD and SHRBP on the implementation and management of an Apprenticeship scheme, including the management and distribution of the apprenticeship levi.

**Key Requirements**:

- Ability to build collaborative and effective relationships with recruiting managers
- Ability to advise on a wide range of recruitment methods
- Ability to manage the ATS (applicant tracking system)
- Experience in managing a graduate scheme and an apprenticeship programme.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex and technical information with clarity.
- Ability to communicate to a wide range of audiences
- Strong ability to work flexibly, managing changing and competing priorities
- Able to challenge and influence others, to contribute professional and technical expertise to effective decision making
- Adept in using MS Office programs

This role’s contracted location will London. You will be required to travel to other sites and offices as and when require.

**Salary**: Up to £45,000.00 per year
