**What you'll do**:
You’ll be working in our cash and coin centre in Edinburgh on cash processing work in line with customer SLAs and our own internal KPIs. This includes opening sacks, or cages for coin, while preparing and processing credits while meeting all processing KPIs.
We’ll expect you to move cash through our high-speed cash processes while checking for counterfeits and accounting for any rejected notes and coins while reconciling to credit. You’ll also prepare and pack outgoing notes and coins for internal and external customers.
You’ll also be responsible for:
- Balancing cash stocks and individual tills in the cash centre
- Adhering to standard operating procedures, safe systems of work and health and safety
- Complying with our controls framework while proactively identifying, managing, and escalating any conduct risks in your area of responsibility to deliver key customer outcomes
- Adhering to all NatWest policies while delivering against statutory, regulatory, supervisory, health and safety and legal obligations
**The skills you'll need**:
To be successful in this role, we’re looking for someone who has good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as an interest in providing the best outcomes for our customers.
You’ll also receive training to help you undertake your daily duties in our Edinburgh cash and coin center.
You’ll also need:
- Good collaborating skills
- Great attention to detail
- An interest in continuous improvement and learning
- An understanding of how to build relationships with customers to deliver an excellent experience
**What else you need to know**:
- Your salary will be £19740 plus any relevant shift allowance
- You'll work a 35 hour week. We can be flexible with working hours and will discuss this in more detail with you during the interview stage
- Training will be provided in this role, so no previous experience is required
- We’re offering this position on a 12 month fixed term contract
