Learning Support Assistant

Daily Pay Rate per day is dependent upon experience and Qualifications but starts from £80 per day
Chalk Education are working with a number of Primary education providers within the Newbury, West Berkshire and surrounding areas - we require Learning Support Assistants to cover a range of positions with a range of contracts available. Working with mainstream students and in special educational settings with a range of additional needs.
Excellent behaviour management is necessary yet with a calm but firm approach. You will always be working alongside a supportive staff team ensuring a positive and safe learning environment is provided for all students.
Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
- **Have experience of teaching assistant / learning support assistant / care work based in the UK**:
- Have experience of working with students that have additional needs
- Have at least Level C or above in English and Maths GCSE's
- Be flexible and able to change plans according to pupils' needs
Additional requirements:
- References confirming suitability for role
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
