Care and Support Assistant

We are looking for caring and motivated individuals to fill the position of Care and Support Assistant in Newbury. Our Supported Living and Outreach Services for individuals with learning disabilities need enthusiastic and empathetic professionals who can deliver high-quality support and promote service users' autonomy and self-confidence.
As a Care and Support Assistant, you will provide vital assistance with daily living tasks, including personal care, domestic chores, and meal preparation. You will also support service users in their personal goals and aspirations, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing daily living support to service users
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines
- Supporting community activities and social events
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
Requirements:
This role requires a minimum of 12 months of prior experience in care and support services. We offer a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our service users.
Salary: £22,500 per annum (pro-rata)
