**Objective of role**

The full project management cycle includes planning, executing, and reviewing projects according to customer and Silverbug deadlines and regularly reviewing your projects progress to make sure they are within time & budget. The role will regularly include organising consultancy resource and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects to plan.

As part of project coordination, this role will predominantly be office based however, you should be willing to attend customer sites for meetings (when requested) and speak directly with customers contacts on a regular basis to ensure good project communication. You will be expected to make daily decisions on your projects and to escalate to the Project Manager or Line Manager where necessary.

Another key responsibility will be to assist the Project Manager with all documentation ensuring that Scope of Works (SOW’s), project plans etc are correct and provided to the Technical Consultants carrying out the work. Assessing and tracking all project risks and opportunities will also be a shared responsibility.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To work with customers and technical leads on delivery of projects on time and in budget
- Assist project development from beginning to end
- Project administration
- Ensure all costings are allocated against the correct projects
- Provide weekly resource and financial reports
- Develop project plans, Gantt charts and associated communications documents
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Travel in the UK will be required
- Arranging and booking resource for projects, large and small
- Keeping daily and/or weekly contact with customer contacts for any project

**Person/technical specification**
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong interest in developing a career in project management.
- Basic knowledge of project management software, such as MS Project and a keenness to better their knowledge
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passionate about customer service
- Previous experience of office administration is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast moving environment
- Ability to make unaided decisions
- Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.

**Accreditations**:

- PRINCE2 practitioner or AgilePM certification or willing to train for this

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,500.00-£26,500.00 per year
