Our client Scottish Power are looking for a Technical Administrator (Procurement Support) to join their team based in Glasgow city centre.
**Role**: Technical Administrator (Procurement Support)
**Company**: Scottish Power
**Duration**: 12 months initially with possibility of extension
**Rate**: Negotiable
**Location**: Scottish Power HQ, 320 St Vincent St, Glasgow G2 5AD
**Job Purpose Statement**
Supporting with the Eastern Link procurement process, supporting the SPEN and Procurement teams. Interact with EPC contractors through e-procurement portal.
**Accountability Statements**
- Support the delivery of a procurement event within a defined programme
- Support the SPEN and Procurement team liaison with stakeholders to maintain protect project delivery requirements
- Assist the liaison with supplier through e-procurement portal
- Provide updates to SPEN Project team and expedite responses as required
- Be open to travel if required

**Skills, Knowledge & Experience**
- Experience in and an understanding of procurement processes
- Experience of e-procurement platforms, preferably Ariba
- Business Management or Administration Qualification
- Previous administration experience.
- Proven ability to work within a changing workload to agreed timescales.
- Be a proficient IT user on word, Excel and a recognised database software package
