Bookkeeper

Location: Solihull, West Midlands
**Salary**: £24k - £28k
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Main duties include:
- Preparations of month end/yearend adjustments including prepayments, accruals, deferred income
- Producing Monthly management accounts and analysing data using Excel
- Bank reconciliations
- Reconciliations of control accounts
- creditors, payroll, VAT, PAYE/NIC
- Postings of Bank, sales, purchase, and nominal ledger
- Processing company expenses
- VAT returns/reconciliation/reporting
- Preparation and posting of normal ledger journals and reserves.
- Some Payrolls control.
- Other ad hoc duties.
- AAT Level 4 qualified
- Experience within an Accountancy Practice
- Xero/SAGE knowledge (advantage)
- Good time management skills
- Good communication skills
- Strong academic background - specifically with numbers and computers
