**About the role**:
We are looking for an inspirational leader with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of our students to oversee and manage the Student Experience on Banbury Campus, ensuring that students have access to the resources and services they need to succeed academically, socially, and personally. As the Head of Student Experience, you'll have the chance to shape memorable experiences that will stay with our students long after they leave our campus.
Reporting to the Group Director of Student Experience and Safeguarding, and working closely with the Group Director of Faculty and campus, students, faculty, and staff you will help to create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive campus community culture that fosters learning, growth, and development, designing your approach to meet local needs whilst maintaining group attitudes and standards. The role will be expected to:
- Work with the Group Director of Faculty and Campus to maintain the highest quality student experience and campus community outside of teaching areas
- Contribute to local leadership at Banbury campus
- Engage with all student groups on Banbury campus including online, to gather their feedback and drive improvements
- Build internal and external community networks and partnerships, to specifically enhance the student experience
- Work collaboratively with and contribute to a variety of internal networks to ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory regulations e.g., Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Ofsted
**What do you need to be successful as a Head of Student Experience at Activate Learning?**
- Have demonstrable experience of creating good relationships with students to bring out the best in them and be skilled at influencing people to change perceptions and behaviour
- Have a track record of driving up standards and most importantly be a voice for our students to instigate and mobilise change
- Be a solution orientated and resilient individual, able to creatively problem solve and work collaboratively across your peers to transform our student experience and create a sense of community
- Possess an approachable manner, a positive and optimistic outlook and the ability to encourage, influence and persuade others in the pursuit of Group objectives
- Be skilled in Trauma Informed and Restorative approaches to behaviour and relationships
