**A quick look at the role.**

To ensure accurate stocks are maintained for all raw materials. Communicate regularly with suppliers to confirm delivered quantities & identify non-conforming materials received. Ensure prompt processing of delivery paperwork, including clear identification of non-conforming material. Conduct forward planning to ensure production plans meet customer requirements.

**The Biffa division you’ll be supporting.**

Within **Resources & Energy** we focus on the treatment, recycling and disposal of waste. It provides a number of treatment services for those materials that can be recovered and landfill disposal for those that are not suitable for recycling or energy recover.

- Maintain accurate stock records for finished goods in both internal & external warehouses
- Ensure that all delivery paperwork is completed accurately & in a timely fashion, including clear identification of any non-conforming material received
- Monthly external stock check to be carried out by material controller across all storage sites
- Complete daily stock check for raw materials used and finished goods made, report to required teams
- Generate production plans to ensure that customer orders are met on time & in full
- Allocate finished product to customer order & communicate with Laboratory Manager to ensure correct material despatched
- Maintain accurate stock records for relevant consumables / packaging & ensure sufficient stocks available to meet customer requirements
- Complete weekly stock takes of all raw materials and finished goods and send relevant information to finance department
- Adherence to company health & safety procedures
- Reconcile Stock variances compared to production daily reports
- Inbound and outbound goods management, ensuring correct documentation is received/ issued

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in manufacturing industry
- Full current car driving licence
- Customer service experience
- Experience using a systems database such as Navision
- Numeracy and ability to understand numerical data
