THE ESTÉE LAUDER COMPANIES

Working with the Senior Design Manager or Design Manager this role will assist in preparing design layouts, including plans, elevations, 3d renderings, following a brief from the design managers.

This role will have a primary focus on Store Design but will support across all brand design elements, which could include (but not limited to); VM tester units, in store launch events, light box/artwork art direction, planograms, installation guidelines. The role will strive for a consitant brand voice across all design elements.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparing design layouts, including plans, elevations, 3d renderings, following a brief from the design managers, including (but not limited to):

- New store openings and refurbsihments
- Department Store Counters
- Pop-ups
- Store launch events
- VM Tester Units
- Working with creative operations, Assist in preparing tender documents for tender process.
- Good creative ability in order to explore new ideas, within the brand guidelines to assist the New York concept teams realize the brief and gain strong brand equity within each environment.
- Good understanding of brands ethos, materials and detailing.
- Continually be aware of trends and new materials on the market. Sourcing of new materials, or locally sourced materials and suppliers.
- Preparation of sample boards and 3d visuals.
- Manage a range of projects at once, often to tight deadlines under the guidance of the design manager.
- Keep design managers updated on continual project status, for ongoing efficiencies within the team.

**Qualifications**
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Interior, Product or 3D design.
- Good understanding of materials and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience in realising a brief, with a strong portfolio of work to back this, including sketches and evidence of thought process.
- Knowledge and interest in new materials. A keen interest in design trends.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Must be a team player, as all work will be team based.
- Good skills in Mac Vectorworks, Cinema 4D and Photoshop are required.
- Rendering skills (photoshop) as well as good free hand sketching essential
- Office 365 - Excel and Word capabilities required
- Awareness of digital trends

**NICE TO HAVE**
- Competent in Adobe Creative Suite - Indesign & Illustrator
- Portfolio focused on beauty and luxury
- Experience managing multiple brands in fast-paced environment
- Experience in designing across various consumer touchpoints (inc. ability to design for specialty-multi, open-sell)
