My client, a busy Regulatory Body within Central London, are urgently seeking a proactive Operations and Project Administrator to join their Investigations Department on a 12 month FTC.

**The purpose of the role**:
To be responsible for the investigation of qualifying concerns raised about professional registrants. The department gathers evidence such as documents, witness statements and information from employers; assesses the level or risk related to the concerns and whether an interim order is need and then prepares a report for the Case Examiners to consider.

**Other duties include**:

- Provide administrative support to the Investigations team; helping the team to meet deadlines, update colleagues on progress and to work collaboratively with NMC in line with NMC values.
- Support the Head of Investigations with their diary and calendar invites, and manage events for the Investigations department, including planning meetings, training and other large and small events.
- Manage and support effective communications within the Investigations team.
- Provide effective administrative support for meetings, training and other events by taking meeting notes, drafting effective agendas, action plans ensuring effective and accurate written communications which align with NMC values.
- Collate and coordinate data for the Investigations department and provide a high-level overview of the data where required.
- Facilitate the circulation and/or submission of papers, including project papers and papers to Executive Board and Council, as required.
- Support the Head of Investigations in financial tracking of budgets/costs/invoices and liaise with finance department as necessary.
- Support the Investigations team and the wider community in arranging and providing administrative support for meetings
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets and other work planning tools, as requested by the Senior Management team.

**Project Duties**:

- Prepare, Track, monitor and support reporting of progress against project/programme plans, including for communications and realisation of benefits.
- Help create and manage a schedule of all key project/programme and stakeholder meetings, co-ordinating paper deadlines, Reporting progress against plans and milestones, and updating the status.
- Take accurate notes of the project/programme board and key meetings and ensure minutes and actions are produced and distributed accurately and in time. Ensure papers are distributed as per deadlines chasing/supporting report and paper providers as necessary.
- Ensure actions identified and decisions made at the project/programme boards and key meetings are appropriately recorded and action owners carry them out in accordance with agreed deadlines.

**To be considered for the role, you must possess**:

- Previous experience as a project/programme support officer
- Experience working in a fast paced, timescale tight environment maintaining attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Exceptional organisation and time planning skills with strong diary management skills along with ability to draft papers and effective minute take.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information.
