**Job description**:
The Senior Policy Officer Role

The Enterprise Department is responsible for key areas of the ICO’s regulatory supervision of information rights practices in digital and online environments. It deals with the highest profile information rights issues of the day, from data protection matters of strategic importance within the digital economy, to the privacy impacts arising from major public policy developments.

**Person specification**:
We are looking for a policy professional to support our work on ensuring that services and products at the forefront of innovative practices comply with data protection law.

You will also have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to challenge and negotiate and to build and maintain good working relationships.
