Overview

A part time role may be considered.

Main accountabilities include:

- To ensure that all staff are trained to the required level of competence in line with the customer airline, airport and Menzies Aviation standards through training courses both classroom based and practical training.
- To assist the development of new training material that may be required due to airline requirements or new procedures.
- To ensure all staff training records are up to date and correct for internal & external company, airline or controlling authority audits.
- To maintain a close working relationship with all customer airlines and become the first point of reference for any amendments & updates to policies & procedures & to ensure all staff are trained accordingly and GLA is compliant at all times.
- To assist, report & manage any airline or company trials that maybe required for the improvement of the operation & integrity of our customer airlines.
- To liaise with the Management team to ensure staff are available for training courses without causing disruption to the safe management of the operation.
- Gather & process all data & documentation necessary for the training department to be compliant by manual, automated or computerised systems including report writing.
- To be flexible in attending any future courses that could be required at any time by both current & future customer airlines in order to produce training packages and to enable them to carry out regulatory & mandatory training.
- Be required to support other stations as required.
- Attend external courses as required to develop & enhance skills base.
- While not training there will be an expectation to cover operational position's when required.

- Remain up to date with all relevant operational, systems and Customer Service training.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Must be pro-active, forward thinking & able to work under own initiative but also as part of a larger team
- You will be computer literate & competent with Microsoft Office Packages (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)
- You will be flexible in your approach and comfortable working in a constantly changing environment & be able to self-time manage their working day to ensure effective running of the Training Department.
- You will be flexible in your working hours to suit the operation & training
- Previous experience in a supervisory / training role would be an advantage but not essential.
