People and Organisational Development Lead opportunity available on a 12 month fixed term contract basis with a view to being extended, working for a leading public services organisation based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. This role is based at their Sheffieldsite and offers agile / home working.

Duties and responsibilities include:

- Lead and be responsible for the delivery of Oracle Cloud Implementation Programme for People & Organisational Development
- Work with the programme leads across Finance, Duties and the wider programme team in influencing the design and delivery of the Oracle Cloud Solution
- Be the People &Organisational Development ‘technical expert’ influencing the solution design and understand the impact of P&OD integrations
- To lead the People &OD programme team through the programme of system implementation, process re-engineering and organisational re-design to ensure transformational change
- Lead the People &OD functional leads to ensure current processes and as is structures are understood and how this can be translated to the new system
- Ensure efficiency, effectiveness and improved customer service are at the centre of processes and policy
- Lead the People &OD functional leads to design and develop a proposal to re-design processes, policy and infrastructure to make the most from the system by adopting best practice
- Represent People &OD at all Oracle governance meetings and produce reports where required
- Update the People &OD leadership team on progress and ensure relevant decisions are consulted, presented and agreed
- Responsible for communication with the wider P&OD department supported by the Oracle change team
- Ensure actions and workstreams are delivered on time and ensure all issues are reported through the programme team
- Lead and support the P&OD functional leads with their day today activity
- Assist the wider programme and change team to develop post implementation plans to train, upskill and embed system and process changes
- Work with external stakeholders where necessary

Skills and experience required:

- Must have experience of HR System Implementation
- Experience of large-scale HR project Planning and implementation
- Demonstrable Business acumen through understanding the organisation, commercial context and the external environment
- Experience developing strategy, Target Operating Models and HR service transformation including organisational design principles
- Able to use a range of communication and influencing techniques and methods to successfully negotiate, collaborate to effect change
- Able to build trust and credibility via knowledge, experience and engagement that enables collaboration, professional challenge, problem solving and delivery
- Experience of Oracle E-Business suite
- Ability to work under pressure as a lead role on an implementation Programme with multiple workstreams
- Bring enthusiasm to the programme and a desire to work in a challenge and innovative environment
