**Duties**

Provide general assistance to the Practice Team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone.

Ensure that you maintain a thorough knowledge of and adhere to all Practice policies and procedures and comply with health and safety legislation, information governance, security and confidentiality and infection control.

Work as part of a team to deliver administrative support to the medical staff, maintaining accurate and efficient processing of patient referral letters to hospitals and other secondary care providers.

Audio typing of patient referral letters and inputting of patient data into the computer database.

Liaising with various service providers and patients to organise appointments and deal with queries that may arise.

Ensure that computer data entries, filing and coding are kept up to date and maintained accurately

Provide other adhoc administrative support in order to assist in the smooth running of the Practice day to day.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £12.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leeds, LS4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Medical Receptionist: 4 years (preferred)
