**Job overview**:
An exciting, rare opportunity has arisen to join the dynamic, friendly Admin Team for Community Specialist Palliative Care, supporting the Community Specialist Palliative Care Countywide Team.

The main role is managing referrals from Consultants, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.

The role involves organising meetings, data collection, occasional making and receiving telephone calls, ordering equipment and office supplies.

You will need to be computer literate. You will be required to work using your own initiative with the ability to organise and prioritise work efficiently. You must be able to communicate well and have an adaptable and flexible attitude to your work.

This vacancy based at Truro Health Park is Part time of 24 hours Monday - Friday.

**Main duties of the job**:
Registering and discharging patients.

Attaching documentation to electronic patient records.

Data inputting and running reports as directed by clinical leads for monthly audits required by the service.

Minute taking for weekly SPC MDT meetings.

Sorting of incoming mail and distributing to addressed department/individual.

Secure franking of outgoing mail as required postage.

Photocopying/scanning and sending information in accordance with information Governance guidelines

Stock and equipment ordering via Integra and other appropriate systems
