Transport Customer Service Coordinator

Allstaff Office Division require an experienced Customer Service Coordinator who ideally comes from a Supply chain, Logistics or Transport background. Stronmg customer service experience is a must. Please note our client will consider those with experience or those who are at a more trainee level.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week, and this is a hybrid model, 3 days in the office, 2 days at home weekly.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Operational experience in customer service role in a busy transport environment
- Strong IT skills across the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically the ability to import and manipulate data from external sources.
- Knowledge of freight, transport, logistics industry
- Conduct thorough customer verifications by closely monitoring bookings and collections with hauliers and suppliers.
- Provide essential support in managing insurance matters and efficiently handling claims.
- Ensure the accuracy and currency of all changes and variations to rates, haulier details, and supplier information within our systems.
- Proactively communicate updates and address any arising issues promptly
- Handle customer complaints effectively, gathering pertinent information, issuing non-conformance documents, and escalating unresolved matters as necessary.
- Process manual orders received from customers accurately into our Transport Management System.
- Coordinate and schedule planned collections and deliveries according to customer specifications, with meticulous record-keeping in the TMS system.
- Keep customers informed regularly about the status of their orders' delivery.
- Engage directly with customers via various channels to address inquiries, amendments, and requests promptly and courteously
- Manage the processing and recording of all claims and demurrage, including follow-up with hauliers, and report progress to the Operations Manager.
- Compile daily and weekly KPI data accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our customer and supplier address database.
- Develop haulier performance reports on a quarterly basis for review by the Team Lead Operations.

Allstaff is operating as an Employment Agency for the supply of Permanent and Contract staff employed directly by the hirer.
