We are seeking a Transport Debriefer to assist the Transport Manager in the smooth running of the busy transport department.

At Bidfood, we recognise that the quality of our Transport team is instrumental to our success. This is an office based role in which the Transport Debriefer needs to ensure that all Drivers receive a daily debrief at the end of their shift.

You will debrief drivers upon their return to the depot, ensuring that temperature controls have been maintained throughout the driver’s journey, cages are reconciled on arrival against departure totals, any stock returns are investigated and any damages or missing goods are investigated with the driver.

You will need to be a clear and effective communicator and acting as a conduit for general communications between the Drivers and Management ensuring any queries are resolved quickly and effectively.

Additionally, you will be required to carry out formal investigations into incidents as well as visual vehicle checks and report damages. Collecting tachograph information, distributing updates and delivering coaching to the Drives will support the smooth running of the department. All activity aligned to the Debrief role plays an integral part in ensuring that service excellence is being achieved within the department.

To be successful in this role you will have similar experience of working within a transport environment, ideally within a fast moving distribution industry. You will be someone with an excellent team ethos, able to effectively communicate and coordinate a team. You will need to be computer literate and confident with entering data onto spreadsheets and will need an understanding of the FTA regulations, tachographs and have working knowledge of multi-temperature/drop deliveries.

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£25,000.00 per year
