We are currently looking for a Credit Controller to join our busy team in Kings Norton

You will manage and oversee all debts owed to each of our 19 trading companies. You will work closely with the Finance Director, CEO and Individual company Managing Directors to deliver an accurate and efficient credit control service. This role requiresbuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure the smooth running of accounts.

The day-to-day duties of the Credit Controller are varied and include managing the debts of creditors, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, reconciling invoices, resolving account queries and managing debt recovery.

**Credit Controller Duties**:

- Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
- Evaluating new credit requests and reviewing customers’ credit ratings with banks
- Setting up of terms and conditions of credit
- Ensuring timely payment of debts and taking appropriate actions with overdue items
- Produce weekly aged debt reports & statistics
- Responding to relevant client enquiries
- Allocation of cash received accurately to the sales ledgers and chasing up remittances where required
- Forwarding customer invoices to clients
- Entering customer invoices to client data bases eg Tungstone
- Preparation and issue of statements,
- Prepare monthly forecast of cash received for the next 2 months
- Managing sales ledger
- Providing administrative support to the team

**Credit Controller Requirements**:

- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade C or above (to include English and Maths)
- Microsoft Office Skills particularly Excel
- Outstanding attention to detail with an ability to reconcile complex accounts
- 5 years’ experience of credit control, preferably in a multi company environment
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office and accountancy software
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with external clients and internal colleagues
- Professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others

- Works well under pressure with ability to prioritise workload, multitask and deliver to deadlines
