An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 1.0 WTE permanent position as a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist with an interest in working in staff wellbeing.

We also have a 1.0 WTE fixed term position as a Band 8a Clinical Psychologist for 12 months to cover Maternity Leave. The roles will based with the Staff Wellbeing Service at NUH to help support the work of staff wellbeing mental health practitioners and develop new training programmes, resources and support mechanisms/systems for line managers to better support staff with mental health concerns. The post holders will not have line management responsibility but may be required to provide clinical support/supervision for a range of other staff as part of the role.

**Main duties of the job**:
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologists with an interest in supporting the psychological wellbeing of our staff.

The Team are currently engaged in developing a workforce trauma service to support staff who may have experienced a potentially traumatic event at work. This is led by the Consultant Clinical Psychologist for staff wellbeing and supported by other areas across the hospital. We are looking for a clinical psychologist with an interest in and experience of staff wellbeing and/or trauma support to deliver elements of the project as well as contribute to the ongoing mental health wellbeing team offer in the Staff Wellbeing Team.

The post holders will be employed by Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. Our office base is at QMC although you will be required to travel and deliver initiatives across all 3 main campuses. Applicants must have the personal qualities and resilience to be able to work in a busy acute trust setting.
- A strong interest in staff wellbeing
- Enthusiasm for and past experience of developing and delivering group interventions/training sessions
- Experience in staff wellbeing and/or trauma support
- Evidence of significant knowledge and substantial post doctorate experience of working in clinical health psychology
- Experience of clinical supervision/support of other staff

- Post-grad doctoral level or equivalent as accredited by BPS
- HCPC registration as practitioner psychologist

**Desirable criteria**:

- Knowledge of staff wellbeing and mental health issues in the workplace

**Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:

- Developing and delivering training programmes, group work and workshops
- Experience and knowledge and mental health issues in the workplace and the role of the line manager
- Experience of working in a multi disciplinary team and partnership working to design/deliver services
- Experience of conducting service evaluation

**Desirable criteria**:

- Experience of working in staff wellbeing or working with staff
- Experience of dealing with critical incidents and debriefs

**Communication/Relationships**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skills in providing advice/consultation and delivering presentations
