The Transformation Unit is seeking a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Staff Wellbeing Psychologist.

Job Overview

This role requires an individual with a strong background in trauma-informed care and staff well-being, who can promote the psychological support of staff in Maternity, Neonatal, and connected services.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to develop an understanding of the complex needs of the service and staff, and lead on the development of Clinical Psychology services under external review.

About the Role

  • Lead on the development of Clinical Psychology services to staff under external review in Maternity and Neonatal services.
  • Provide supervision to Clinical Psychologists and other professional groups as appropriate/required.
  • Contribute to the training of staff as required.
  • Undertake personal R&D programmes and contribute to the organisation of R&D activities of Assistant/Trainee Psychologists on placement.

Requirements

  • Eligibility for Chartered Clinical Psychology status and registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health & Care Professions Council.
  • Postgraduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology.

Estimated salary: £74,290 - £85,601 per annum.
