The Role

The People team is looking for a motivated, resourceful and enthusiastic individual who is super-organised to join our lively team based in Pancras Square, Kings Cross London. Reporting to one of the People Partners (with a dotted line to a second People Partner), you will be acting as the first point of contact for a number of our employees. You’ll take ownership of all the administrative processes of the employee lifecycle, from new starters to leavers, ensuring that actions are completed timely, diligently and accurately.

This is a key role in our team and by providing high-impact and high-value administration you will support the delivery of our People agenda.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for an existing HR Assistant/Administrator looking for the next step in their HR career, where they can further their development and knowledge & development whilst bringing their HR administration skills to service our client groups efficiently.

Your Responsibilities

People Coordination
- Be the first point of contact for all general HR queries, escalating any issues where necessary
- Managing the new starter process, including drafting and issuing employment contracts working closely with the wider People team to ensure necessary information has been sent and returned
- Manage the onboarding process for our new employees including delivering our Company Induction every other Tuesday and Wednesday Check-ins.
- Managing the leaver process which includes sending leavers information, actioning on our HR system and conducting exit interviews. You may be asked to collate and report the exit analysis when required.
- Managing the administration and communication of employment-related changes (promotions, job title changes, etc) and ensuring changes have been shared with the Compensation & Benefits team
- Processing any job-related changes onto our HR system - Workday
- Advising managers and employees on basic policies and processes such as sick leave, probation etc escalating to the People Advisor and/or People Partners where necessary.
- Involvement in People team projects that will contribute to our People strategy and success and will enable you to grow and progress.
- Staying up to date with latest industry trends or employment law legislation so you can understand the impact they may bring to your remit and team

What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in an HR Assistant/Administration role supporting a busy and very fast-paced team
- You’ll have started to advise employees and managers on basic policies and processes and you want to continue to further your knowledge and experience, with the support of the People Team
- Amazingly organised with the ability to manage multiple requests and priorities and remain calm
- We are always looking to improve our processes and are looking for someone who will want to drive change and collaborate with our wider team to make us successful. You will need to be curious and proactive to be successful in this role.
- Passion, energy, and enthusiasm for helping people and supporting the team
- Confident, articulate and engaging communicator
- Someone who likes to work with people and wants to do good work.
