We are looking for an IT Supplier Relationship Manager to join our clients team on a permanent basis. Our client delivers IT Services, this role would work with internal and external vendors to optimise the value delivered from their third-party relationshipsfor the supply of goods and services. You will be supporting cross-functional teams in the delivery of complex sourcing and leading the contractual requirements. Our client is looking for someone who has worked in the IT sector before and someone who is extremelydriven and confident. The role is a Hybrid role and you will be required in the office in Guildford for 1-2 days per week.

**Responsibilities of the IT Supplier Relationship Manager**
- Supports the Strategic Procurement Manager to deliver on agreed targets and service delivery.
- Leads, coordinates and supports a variety of strategic supplier commercial and contractual initiatives in line with the agreed the category strategy and the companies strategic plan, and in alignment with global procurement standards and initiatives.
- Builds and maintains effective relationships with strategic suppliers, management and key stakeholders.
- Supports the business in all contractual and supplier management queries, reporting and associated activities.
- Delivers cost optimisation
- Supports the Strategic Procurement Manager to deliver on reporting and Management Information requirements.
- Conducts IT market analysis, on strategic suppliers and alternative market leading vendors
- Supports tactical and strategic sourcing projects (including vendor screening) via approved channels and facilitates storage of associated contracts as per agreed processes.
- Report writing for vendor selection proposals, contract management, and savings tracking.
- Lead on contract management activities, tracking on delivery against contractual terms and seeking improvements where possible.
- Builds effective relationships with all stakeholders on local and global level through proactive engagement, collaborative working practices and a lean and flexible approach to work.
- Ensures adherence to core Procurement standards and regulations (both local and Group), along with regulatory requirements.
- Manages risk through robust due diligence practices in alignment with existing guidance and processes.

**Experience required of the IT Supplier Relationship Manager**
- General IT Procurement experience.
- IT Procurement experience preferably in a corporate environment, including sourcing, preparation and execution of tenders from identifying requirement through the cycle to renewal/ retender.
- Proven track record of identifying and delivering cost savings and other added value.
- Knowledge of contract law and ability to work alongside our in-house legal team for contract negotiations.
- Experience of working with IT and/or technology agreements an advantage
- Good negotiation skills.
