We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join a friendly and dynamic team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payrolls for the UK and Ireland-based sites. The payroll function is processed in-house from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic payroll team and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Full training will be offered and would be suitable for someone looking move into accounts in the future - we will require some exposure to payroll in a previous position.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurate and timely delivery of the monthly payrolls
- Manual calculations of Tax and NIC if required
- Processing and payroll administration of the company pension scheme
- Processing of all Statutory payments
- Processing UK Tax Year Ends
- Process payrolls accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with the current team of 4 Payroll Administrators to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including but not limited to payslips, payroll summaries, tax reports, and year-end documentation.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, resolving issues or redirecting them to the appropriate channels.
- Stay up to date with changes in payroll legislation and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Provide support for various payroll tasks as required, including but not limited to data entry, reconciliations, and payroll system maintenance.

**Requirements**:

- Understanding of UK tax and NIC essential
- Understanding of Pension Auto Enrolment is an advantage
- Familiarity with Irish payroll legislation would be an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee information.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
