My client is looking for a **Finance Administrator** who is going to manage all aspects of their finances, provide great office support and take responsibility for the programme of events and bookings for the self-catering college.
Located in the idyllic and peaceful Oxfordshire countryside, my client is a Conference and Retreat Centre known for its serene and tranquil environment, it offers a space for reflection, renewal, and relaxation. Accommodating to day conferences, residential retreats, B&B guests, and private events. They are looking for a Finance Administrator who carries a great passion for organisation and efficiency to join their dynamic team.
**Responsibilities**
- Conducting daily bookkeeping duties, including managing payroll using PAYE, pension schemes, cash flow, bank reconciliations, VAT returns and supplier-to-customer financial interactions.
- Managing financial forecasting, budgeting, staff financial records, staff absence records and reporting financial aspects of B&B operations.
- Managing phone calls and booking inquiries, coordinating retreats and events.
- Collaborating with other staff members to cater to guest needs, this includes, guest welcoming and support, housekeeping needs, taxi arrangements, key collection at checkout, heating and water adjustments, luggage assistance and room orientation.
- Conducting annual mail-outs and managing office supply orders.
**Experience**
- Experience within a Financial or Bookkeeping role is essential.
- Professional experience with Quickbooks would be advantageous.
- Great organisational skills with a methodical approach to managing a varied workload.
- The ability to be flexible, adaptable and proactive in embracing changes and multitasking.
- Being a team player with a hardworking, enthusiastic attitude, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Full UK driving licence is required.
