**About Vitrition**
At Vitrition, we specialise in the formulation and manufacture of liquid and powder food supplements. Some of our most popular products include our children’s multi-vitamin liquids, beauty supplements, energy gels, vitamin and mineral powder blends, and general health and wellbeing supplements.
**The Role**
The main job requirements are outlined below:
**Purchasing**:
- Raising purchase orders based on supplied 'shopping list'.
- Coordination of Order Status - Liaison with suppliers and internal communication with business teams on material arrival versus planned dates.
- Management of impact of delays/issues with raw materials - ensuring key stakeholders are aware of changes, allowing business time to plan.
- Working with the Supply Chain Manager and Purchasing Co-ordinator on developing contingency supply base for key materials in advance of issues.
- Liaising with Development and Quality Teams to ensure supplier/product approvals are completed as in a timely manner.
- Provide support to identify new suppliers or contingency suppliers for new materials and packaging.
- Involvement in agreed purchasing projects that deliver value to the business via flexible supply base, cost, reduced lead time etc.
- Following up on artwork changes, chasing proofs and CAD samples from suppliers.
- Returns to suppliers - raising on the system, coordinating with the suppliers on uplifting/replacement goods and processing the completed return documents.
- Setting up new item codes.
- Ordering office stationery and consumables.
- Ensuring up-to-date order status for materials purchased.
- Maintenance of up-to-date order confirmation status for orders that have been placed with suppliers chasing up confirmed delivery dates and monitoring.
- Placing orders when requested in a timely and organised manner ensuring availability of materials to complete production plan.
- Ensuring order details, order confirmations, and invoice details are consistent highlighting and closing out any queries in a timely manner.
- Liaise between suppliers and relevant internal departments on stock related queries ensuring all Stakeholders are informed of any key issue.
- Support the project and quality team with requesting and chasing key supplier information.
- Maintenance of Purchasing related systems ensuring data up to date and accurate.
- Maintain database of raw material prices and order quantities.
- Demonstrate focus on the quality of all tasks you undertake and any other duties as may be reasonably requested in line with the job role
**Sales Orders and Plan Administration**:
- Assist with processing new sales orders from customers.
- Booking orders on to in-house software.
- Preparing pro-forma invoices.
- Assist with planning new orders on to production plan.
- Prepare despatch documents and book transport.
**Product Development**:
- Assist with costing new products and formulations.
- Assist with sourcing raw materials and packaging for new products.
- Assist with preparing quotes for customers.
- Assist with setting up new product books.

Competitive Salary.
**About You**
You will have previous administration experience in a fast-paced environment, with an eye for detail. Ideally, you will have a background in purchasing, in a manufacturing company, and have the ability to prioritise workloads to ensure you meet deadlines.
Working hours will be 37.5 per week, Monday-Friday.
