Part of this role will be responsible for the all the administrative activities associated to the onboarding of new hires and the offboarding of all colleagues excluding bespoke routes.
- You will also be dealing with an area which is fundamental to people's livelihood - Reward, Contracts & Pay.

**Description**
- Contribute to the delivery of objectives and service level agreements.
- Be the point of contact for new colleagues coming into BT, answering queries, sending any important information and solving problems and supporting colleagues through the new joiner portal to ensure colleagues have completed all the task needed for themto be able to start with BT.
- Completing new joiner tasks on BT internal Systems, including start date changes, pay details, educational certifications, uniform ordering, BT ID pass ordering etc.
- Ensuring all offboarding activities have been completed prior to the colleague leaving BT, including exit interview/leavers checklist and tasks that need to be actioned within the BT Systems EG Exit Dates
- Create, process and send out the new colleague contracts, ensuring the colleague has read and accepted. Amending and re-offering contracts as and when required working with recruitment if needed.
- Process contract changes for multiple scenarios e.g. internal hires, one off payments, TUPE Terms & Conditions; using the internal HR Systems & ensuring all the right process & policy has been followed prior to the contract submission.
- Process any administrative task to do with sick pay, including return to works and extension to sick pay.
- Compete Reward Cases by providing quick & innovative solutions to our colleagues including the HR community.
- Provide a professional, friendly and quick service to all colleagues & customers.
- Prioritise own workload in an efficient manner and anticipate problems.
- Working closely with other internal teams to support and resolve problems.

**Profile**
- **Confidentiality**: Understand the need for confidentiality in regard to documents processed, systems maintained and access to confidential material within the HR community.
- **Collaboration**: Work effectively and efficiently with colleagues to deliver a first class service, be seen as personable & support each other to achieve SLAs & overcome problems.
- **Continuous Improvement**: To continually look at ways of improving process and procedures within the HR function to improve the level of support provided to the customer.
- **IT Competency**: Able to learn/pick up how to use internal systems as part of the role is administration on internal systems.
- **Colleague Experience**: Delivering a service which goes above and beyond our colleagues expectations, especially when it comes to resolving problems. Showing the customer (our colleagues) how important they are by always interacting in ahelpful & positive way.
- **Communication & Relationships**: Ability to communicate both in writing and verbally with new joiners to the business in a clear, supportive and friendly manner as well as building good & trustworthy relationships with new joiners.
