In this role, you will have exposure to and be expected to work closely with key stakeholders within the business, including the Group CFO and Business Finance Directors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of all Indirect Tax filing requirements, including multiple UK VAT groups, partial exemption calculations, Irish VAT groups, USA State Sales Tax returns, and Nexus monitoring.
  • Responsibility for reviewing contracts, products, and revenue streams to ensure correct tax treatment and preparing papers to document appropriateness.
  • Leading role in any Indirect Tax audits/enquiries, including direct consultation with inspectors and advisors where required.
  • Internal advisor to proactively assess indirect tax issues associated with new commercial business plans and geographical growth.
  • Provide Indirect Tax expertise to support M&A Due Diligence activity.
Requirements:
  • ACA / CTA qualified (or equivalent) with 4 or more years' experience in Indirect Taxes OR ATT qualified with significant (6 years +) Indirect Tax focused experience.
  • Experience with European VAT & USA Sales Tax.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics to key stakeholders, including non-finance/tax people.
