**Finance Manager, Northumberland**
**Salary up to £45,000**
My client is a hugely successful and rapidly expanding family business who have an immediate need for a qualified Finance Manager. They’re a well established FMCG company who are embarking on a period of high growth and therefore require an excellent calibreFinance Manager to ensure this growth is adequately managed and controlled, and that financial reporting reflects the needs of the business.
**Duties will also include (but not limited to)**:
Preparation of monthly management accounts packs.
Preparation of annual budget covering P & L Account, Balance Sheet and Cashflow and all supporting analysis.
Provision of monthly KPI and statistical information to the management team to drive cost reduction & performance improvement.
Processing all elements of the monthly payroll and ensuring timely payment of salaries to all members of staff.
Maintain control of the company pension scheme.
Ensure timely compilation and submission of the quarterly VAT return.
Oversee all other elements of our cashflow planning and control including the cashbook maintenance and account reconciliations.
Maintain control of the fixed asset register.
**Criteria**:
Accountancy qualification (eg. ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA).
Experience of managing a finance function whilst also willing to be 'hands on’.
Excellent networking and relationship building skills.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately.
Willingness to work to deadlines, particularly around payroll and month end requirements.
