This role is on a fixed term/secondment basis for a minimum of 9months, and a possibility to extend to 1 year to cover maternity leave.

**The One YOU Project Lead**: Smoke free will be responsible for line managing the day to day requirements of the GP and Pharmacy Project Officer and the Acute Project Officers.

The role will oversee and manage processes that ensure all schemes of work in their remit are robustly monitored and evaluated, leading on writing locality and scheme reports, analysing data and making recommendations to the professional and service area managers.

In addition, the role will make an active contribution to marketing/social marketing in a range of forms, and will be expected to contribute in the delivery of Health Improvement events to engage the public or professional partners.

The post holder will be required to have excellent working knowledge of Smoking Cessation practice and interventions and will be expected to be able to identify where opportunities could be drawn on to further develop the service. In consultation with their line manager, they will undertake any other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the role and grade of the post.

The main duties of this role is to take responsibility for supporting the Specialist Service Team Manager in the resetting, development, implementation and monitoring of the support the team offers the Acute Trusts across Kent, ensuring key relationships are re-established and new relationships are built with effective and robust referral pathways imbedded.

The post holder will also work with the Specialist Service Team Manager to oversee and support the GP and Pharmacy Project Officer to manage the performance and quality assurance of third-party providers and escalate any concerns to the Specialist Service Team Manager in a timely manner.

The post holder will take the lead at an operational level in supporting the Specialist Service Team Manager to implement any changes or developments within this project area. They will be able to support with the implementation of new projects, through forward planning, strategy, design, analysis and be able to communicate these both orally and in writing.

**Additional Working Pattern**: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
