Endoscopy Lead Practitioner Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Endoscopy Lead Practitioner to join our team at One Healthcare Partners Limited. As a key member of our Endoscopy & Theatres Team, you will be responsible for the management and activity of the Endoscopy service, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care that prioritizes patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Endoscopy service, ensuring compliance with departmental policies, practice standards, regulation, and governance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care, quality, and safety within the Endoscopy service.
  • Collaborate with the Theatre Manager to ensure seamless integration of Endoscopy services with other hospital departments.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to Endoscopy staff, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance and audit processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the hospital's management team to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic plans.

Requirements

  • NMC Registration and evidence of continued professional development.
  • Teaching, assessing, and mentorship qualification.
  • Diploma or degree in management.
  • Proven experience in Endoscopy, with a strong understanding of HTM: 01-06 and the Global Ratings Scale (GRS) and Joint Accreditation Group (JAG) standards.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive change.
