Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Endoscopy Lead Practitioner to join our team at One Healthcare Partners Limited. As a key member of our Endoscopy & Theatres Team, you will be responsible for the management and activity of the Endoscopy service, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care that prioritizes patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Endoscopy service, ensuring compliance with departmental policies, practice standards, regulation, and governance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care, quality, and safety within the Endoscopy service.
  • Collaborate with the Theatre Manager to ensure effective communication and coordination between teams.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to Endoscopy services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical governance processes to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

  • NMC Registration and evidence of continued professional development.
  • Teaching, assessing, and mentorship qualification.
  • Diploma or degree in management.
  • Proven experience in Endoscopy, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior nurse role.
  • Knowledge of HTM: 01-06 and experience with clinical governance and audit processes.
  • Effective leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in the Independent Sector.
  • Operators/Managers City & Guilds course in Decontamination HTM 01:06.
