Endoscopy Lead Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Endoscopy Lead Practitioner to join our team at One Ashford Hospital. As a key member of our Endoscopy & Theatres Team, you will be responsible for the management and activity of the Endoscopy service, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care that prioritizes patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Endoscopy service, ensuring compliance with departmental policies, practice standards, regulation, and governance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Theatre Manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development and growth.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance and audit processes.
Requirements
  • NMC Registration and evidence of continued professional development.
  • Teaching, assessing, and mentorship qualification.
  • Diploma or degree in management.
  • Proven relevant Endoscopy experience at senior nurse level.
  • Experience of Clinical governance and audit processes.
