Endoscopy Lead Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Endoscopy Lead Practitioner to join our Endoscopy & Theatres Team at One Ashford Hospital.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and activity of the Endoscopy service, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care that prioritizes patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Endoscopy team to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient flow, reduce waiting times, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Endoscopy service, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination with other hospital departments to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in endoscopy.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in managing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of HTM: 01-06 and JAG standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional weekends and evenings.
