**About the role**

We’ve a great opportunity to join our Workforce Optimisation Team as one of our Workforce Resource Planners. You will work as part of a team who are responsible for monitoring real time performance on day as well as reporting key information and making decisions which will ultimately support a fantastic service to all customers.

You’ll work closely with other departments to understand issues that may have an impact on resourcing levels and manage activity requests such as coaching, training, communication, one to ones, appraisals, and buzz sessions. We’re looking for you to support the team with planning, forecasting, and scheduling analysis, providing recommendations to support the operational teams to make optimum use of available resource.

You’ll need to understand and consider the impact of factors that may impact the performance of the contact centre ensuring forecasts and resourcing are planned & adhered to accordingly.

You’ll be required to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders attending meetings and ensuring information is shared, making recommendations based on data that is provided, along with communicating with other Team Managers to ensure resourcing plans are optimised and that issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.

**This is a 24 month apprentice training opportunity, you will be employed by ATA agency and not Northumbrian Water.**

**About you**

We are looking for you to have a thirst for learning new things, an analytically minded person who can look at, utilise and interpret different data sets. You will be excited about the prospect of working in a workforce planning/scheduling team, in a fast moving dynamic environment.

You’ll have a desire to learn about planning methodologies and processes, be comfortable with Microsoft Office packages as well as advanced excel experience. You will also want to learn how to use specialist software solution used to maximise Workforce Management Planning tools. You’ll be analytically minded and inquisitive and a desire to improving process efficiencies and solving problems in a customer service environment.

We will provide you with comprehensive training to support you to deliver the duties outlined above.

We’re looking for you to have excellent communications skills both written and verbal, along with working as part of a team and strong influencing skills, including Stakeholder management and expectation setting.
