Blue Arrow Livingston are currently recruiting for a full-time general admin assistant for our public sector client. This role is temporary, expecting to last approximately 1-3 months.

The post holder will provide an effective and efficient service for the department whilst working to deadlines.

Duties include:

- Assist in processing financial transactions.
- Assist in ordering, receiving and stocktaking in canteen shop and sundry stock.
- Picking and processing all canteen requests through the till system within set deadlines.
- As part of a multi-functional team you will be required to perform other tasks/relief cover as specified by accounts manager.

Essential Skills and Experience:

- A minimum of 2 national 5 qualifications (including English and Maths or equivalent qualifications).
- Knowledge and experience of stock control.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word or Outlook.
- Able to prioritise workload to meet departmental deadlines.
- Ability to analyse, interpret and report on a range of information.
- Experience working individually and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday.

Shift times: 08:00-16:00.
