An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated Executive Assistant to provide support to our senior management team at City & Hackney CAMHS (Children & Adolescent Mental Health Service), based across both our sites at Homerton Row London E9 6ED and John Scott Health Centre, Green Lanes, N4 2NU.

You will be required to provide an expert confidential, high quality, efficient and effective secretarial and administrative service to designated members of the team so that they are able to focus on their key responsibilities. Efficiently managing their offices through the implementation and development of office systems and complex processes as well as proactively managing projects by sourcing and processing information, the majority of which will be of a highly complex and sensitive nature.

Working autonomously, meet challenging and at times inflexible deadlines, and able to prioritise workloads. Reliability, commitment, flexibility and strong attention to detail are essential to the role.

The post-holder will undertake a range of delegated administrative responsibilities to include the organising, and where appropriate attendance and minute taking, at service led meetings and other designated meetings, such as investigatory and appeal meetings for the service area, Ensure meetings are managed to a high level and using Trust filing conventions. Helpful to have the ability to type minutes directly onto a laptop ensuring that high quality minutes can be produced and distributed in a timely following the meeting or investigation.

The postholder will work alongside and cover, when appropriate, other administration staff across several locations in some instances.

The City & Hackney Child and Adolescent Mental Health Team is a service for young people and families. The role involves supporting the young people, families and the team of health professionals.

The post-holder will portray a professional image that is consistent with the Trust’s values and behaviours, and is expected to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation. The role will require effective use of reason, intellect and judgement to make informed decisions within areas of responsibility and proactively deal with a diverse range of issues.

As an experienced Executive Assistant you will be required to use your excellent communication skills in communicating with service users, referrers and partner agencies. You will have experience of diary management, spreadsheets and minute-taking; work autonomously, be flexible, prioritise your own workload, act on your own initiative and ensure that procedures are followed to deliver a service that meets the Trusts targets and standards.
