We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join our friendly team.
**Job Title**: Sales Executive
**Location**: Brighouse, HD6 4AB

**Job description**
**Key Responsibilities**
To maximise the turnover and margin of the business in line with targets set including:
- Successfully delivering sales plans for allocated customers that achieve annual turnover, profit, and stock level targets
- Assisting new business opportunities with new customers and new markets
- Build relationships with key UK buyers and maximise opportunities to sell own-label gift wrap, bags and accessories and branded gift products to existing customers
- Working with the creative and development teams to create and develop the product offering based on feedback from buyers, analysis of sales history and retail figures
To maximise the Return on all product ranges, including:
- Presenting the successful strategy and product offering to customers
- Building balanced, commercial, and profitable product ranges
- Ensuring the products are fully costed to customer requirements
- Negotiating prices and terms
- Protecting and growing margin in line with targets set
- Negotiation and resolution of any disputes and supply failures
- Ensuring all issues raised in pre-production and product sealing meetings are resolved on a commercial basis
To ensure excellent relationships with allocated customers are maintained (whilst protecting the position and objectives) including:
- Ensuring market knowledge is up to date through comp and directional shopping and understanding market info, use this to identify opportunities
- Managing relationships with the buying and merchandising teams
- Understanding of the customer requirements (including quality, logístical, packaging and factory requirements) and terms of trading
- Overseeing the critical path management and ensuring the customer approvals are completed to schedule
**We are looking for someone with the below characteristics**:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Efficient, organisation skills and attention to detail
- Passion for product
- Able to build rapport and strong working relationships with key buyers
- Negotiate confidently and have a detailed understanding of pricing issues and considerations
- Commercial awareness with experience in supplying to UK retailers preferably stationery, gift-wrap, gift buyers
