**What is a Volunteer** **Marketing Assistant?**

Volunteer Marketing Assistants contribute to the implementation of an organisation's marketing strategy. Their role includes being responsible for several tasks, from updating the website(s) to running social media pages, distributing flyers, and providing sound administrative support. It is an opportunity to gain experience in a non-profit organisation while doing your part to make sure it runs efficiently.

**What is involved**:

- Maintain and update a database of potential and existing clients
- Market information appropriately when required, including regularly distributing posters and other promotional material within local areas

**Who is the role suitable for**:
If you are/have:

- Currently a student, or recently graduated with a degree in marketing, communications, English or another related degree.
- Managed projects from beginning to end and taken ownership of your work/contributions/.
- Social media savvy
- Reliable and honest
- Willing to uphold the organisation’s values and comply with organisational policies
- Willing to make use of opportunities given, e.g., for training, mentoring etc.
- Able to carry out tasks within agreed guidelines
