If so, you may want to explore opportunities within our newly established Volunteer Engagement Team, which operates across multiple locations in the UK.

We are thrilled to announce openings for Volunteer Engagement Coordinators as part of our three-year sustainability strategy aimed at expanding and empowering our volunteer network to provide services to individuals affected by arthritis.

Our Volunteer Engagement Team is integrated within our People and Culture Directorate, which oversees all our personnel-related services throughout the Charity.

We collaborate to ensure that Versus Arthritis is an exceptional place to work and volunteer, fostering an environment where everyone feels engaged, motivated, supported, valued, and included, enabling them to contribute their best efforts for those living with arthritis.

About the role

As a Volunteer Engagement Coordinator, you will offer best practice guidance at a local level to Versus Arthritis volunteers.

In the upcoming years, you will be instrumental in supporting the growth and diversification of our volunteer base while introducing innovative and sustainable initiatives (including digital solutions) to assist them.

Your focus will be on empowering our volunteers by ensuring they receive a high-quality experience through building relationships and providing the necessary resources for their volunteer roles.

For instance, you will be addressing inquiries, onboarding and supporting new volunteers, conducting workshops, particularly in digital literacy, and promoting networking among volunteers.
