**What is a Volunteer Social Media Marketing Assistant?**

We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who is confident in producing and scheduling social media posts on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The role would be a great fit for somebody who is confident in writing copy (for example, captions detailing our courses and free classes) and has a keen eye for creating engaging social media posts and graphics. We primarily use Canva so experience with that would be great

Volunteering with us is an opportunity to gain experience in a non-profit organisation while also helping our organisation be seen and reach as many people as we can to help with mental health and wellbeing

**What you are gaining**:

- Managing ad hoc activities such as writing copy, updating website and event materials and social media activities
- Working on multiple projects at the same time to improve your ability to meet deadlines

- Be part of Samye Foundation Wales and support us to make a more significant difference together
- References will be provided if you dedicate three months of volunteering with us

**What is involved**:

- Maintain and update a database of potential and existing clients
- Market information appropriately when required, including regularly distributing posters and other promotional material within local areas
- Market information on our social media accounts and website
- Contact local businesses to inform them of our services

**Who is the role suitable for**:
If you are/have:

- Currently a student, or recently graduated with a degree in marketing, communications, English or another related degree.
- Managed projects from beginning to end and taken ownership of your work/contributions
- Social media savvy
- Willing to uphold the organisation’s values and comply with organisational policies
- Able to carry out tasks within agreed guidelines
