**Head of Service Desk Propositions**

Hybrid - Flexible Working. Occasional onsite visits to various South England offices.

Salary Range: £70,000-£90,000 (negotiable)

The Brief:
A large global Managed Service provider are looking for a Head of Service Desk who will be responsible for the operational running of Service Desk as a service contract and leading the service desk teams. This is a highly operational and strategic leadingrole.

The Role:

- Strategy: Working alongside the Managed Services director, this role will be responsible for establishing and implanting the Service Desk as service future direction and strategy.
- Operationally: This role is accountable for growing the number of customer facing 1 st line service desk contracts and is able to deliver the best customer service.
- Accountability for day-to-day operations of all service desk as a service delivery teams and managers, either working onsite, off-shore, and working remotely.
- Ensuring the Service Desk function meets all contractual SLA agreements.
- Pro-actively mitigate security risks/issues.
- Contribute to the Managed Services 5-year strategic business plan.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Significant experience in a customer-facing IT managed service environment.
- Track record of positive Service Desk/IT Operation leadership and Management.
- Good customer focus and service.
- Experience leading both onsite, offshore, and remote Service Desk operations.
- Experience of financial management, incl areas like budgeting, cost optimisation, and P&L management.
- Excellent ITIL v3/4 understanding.
- Knowledge of ISO standards.
- Ability to gain SC clearance.
