With our continued growth and subsequent move to larger premises for our head quarters in Basildon, we are now recruiting for a** Facilities** **Coordinator **to join us on a **full-time, permanent basis**. This is very varied, fully office based role, attracting a competitive salary of **£23,500** per annum plus an excellent company benefits package.

**The role**

The Facilities Assistant is responsible for the smooth running of the Basildon head quarters, providing support and assistance to both Stonebridge staff and visitors.

This involves administration of a variety of tasks, using online and in-houses systems to ensure stock and provisions are ordered and maintained, as well as undertaking a variety of housekeeping tasks across the building.

This is a ‘hands on’ role, so the Facilities Assistant is expected to not only identify tasks that need to be actioned, but to then go ahead and complete the action themselves.

The Facilities Assistant role requires strong people skills, looking after the requirements of staff and visitors with empathy, a suitable sense of urgency where required and good and appropriate humour. This is a friendly, positive working environment, where all colleagues are encouraged to be themselves and respect each other.

The nature of the role does not permit for every single task to be listed, but all reasonable facilities-related tasks are expected to be completed.

**Key responsibilities**
- Liaise in advance with all visitors to ensure they have all information and guidance required
- Welcome and verify visitors to the building, and settle them in
- Manage all admin for regulatory requirements for health & safety and wellbeing on site
- Ordering and managing food and beverage supplies, keeping all well stocked and ensure machines are working
- Maintain cleanliness of all common areas within the building (in liaison with building & facilities managers and cleaners)
- Keep office equipment in good state and ready for use as & when required, with adequate supplies (liaising with suppliers and IT colleagues as required)
- Maintain all general day-to-day office admin
- People person
