Facilities Management Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Basildon, Essex.
This is a full-time position that requires strong communication and organizational skills.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service through effective telephone communication.
- Maintain accurate records of all calls and correspondence using a database system.
- Keep clients informed about the status of their requests.
- Produce purchase orders and manage budgets effectively.
- Monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in the on-call rota to ensure 24/7 support.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices.
