**What role are we looking to recruit?**
We’re now growing our Sales team and are looking for a dynamic and high-energy Head of Pre-sales to support our growth. This role will initially lead a small team with the ability to scale-out, and will be focussed on building more in depth technical customer and strategic vendor relationships.
**What will you be doing?**
We have listed a few things that we believe will be at the heart of this role:
- Using high degrees of self-initiative, provide leadership for the pre-sales team, aligning technical efforts with overall business goals. You will be responsible for the success of the pre-sales function.
- Contribute to the pre-sales strategy, managing and mentoring the pre-sales team, liaising with other departments, participating in high-level client engagements, and overseeing the entire pre-sales process.
- You will bring strong leadership and management skills to the role, extensive technical expertise, strategic thinking, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to drive the pre-sales team to achieve organisational objectives.
- Have overall approval and accountability for pricing against technical work to ensure financially viable and profitable for the business whilst delivering to the client.
- Ensure you and your team build and sustain relationships with your aligned pre-sales counterparts at the listed strategic vendors.
- Writing, and supporting the team, in writing concise, accurate and compelling technical bid submissions.
