NWL Procurement Services (“NWL PS”) is part of Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust, and provides procurement and supply chain management services across all members (“NWL Members”).
The Catalogue Assistant is responsible for supporting the provision of an efficient and effective Catalogue Management service for NWL PS. The role is within the Procurement Systems team and will ensure all catalogues for goods and services are accurate and enable the efficient operation of e-Procurement catalogues for contract, in accordance with NWL PS governance.
Integral to the role is the requirement to ensure that catalogues are up to date, with all approved changes processed in a timely fashion and in accordance with NWL PS governance.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
OPERATIONAL
- Support the development and maintenance of catalogues for goods and services on NWL PS e-Procurement Systems.
- Responsible for ensuring that supplier products are correctly aligned to NWL PS product coding structures, resulting in high quality data to inform future decisions.
- Responsible for expediently setting the active/inactive status of products in accordance with direction from the Contract Management & SRM team.
COMMUNICATION
- Establish professional relationships with identified stakeholders.
- Use well developed communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to engage a range of staff to support the delivery of the Procurement Systems team in line with agreed NWL PS strategies and plans.
- Support communicating Procurement Systems strategies and plans to the NWL PS Delivery Board for approval.
- Build and maintain the reputation of NWL PS as a highly professional service with effective business partnering arrangements ensuring maximum satisfaction among both internal and external stakeholders.
- Champion a culture of customer service excellence and value for money delivery in Procurement Systems.
- Work with the Performance and Reporting team to ensure streamlined process and communication to enable Procurement Systems to create robust strategies and plans and to drive process efficiency improvement.
