Pharmacy Assistant - Band 3 - University College London Hospital NHS

Moorfield Eye Hospital are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join their hospital pharmacy as a part of a committed clinical team.

Moorfields is the leading provider of eye health services in the UK and a world-class centre of excellence for ophthalmic research and education. Their clinical staff take great pride in providing high-quality care to their patients across their extensive specialist clinics, including their A&E department; Paediatric clinic; Retinal Therapy Unit; Cataract, Glaucoma, Genetics, Oracular Oncology departments; and many more. The hospital pharmacy provides a comprehensive service to all Moorfield’s clinic, with around 95% of hospital patients receiving essential clinic, discharge, or private prescriptions before they leave the hospital.

Important Requirements:

- Previous pharmaceutical experience
- An empathic, caring approach to patients, and a great team player
- An honest individual with patience and integrity, with a willingness to learn and grow
- Excellent administrative, IT, verbal, and written communication skills
