Toshiba Europe is the EMEA Regional Office with our main office in Staines, UK. We now need an experienced administrator to provide broad administrative support to the HRA and planning teams including the SVP of UK operations as required.
The day to day work is highly varied and will include all types of general admin tasks for the HRA and planning teams.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of the office including liaison with vendors and facilities and ordering supplies etc
You will also be responsible for diary scheduling & travel support, liaising with the various team members to arrange meetings etc and book with hotels/airlines etc. You may also be called upon to support guests with their hotel bookings and arrangements.
As we have a small number of Japanese expatriates, you will liaise with our various vendors to arrange housing, visa, car and banking requirements
Other tasks may include:
- Assistance in the preparation of reports including data collation and contact with Toshiba EMEA entities and Japanese HQ
- Event support - assisting with arrangement for internal and external events
- Assistance with PR and CSR activities including liaison with external and internal parties
From time to time, you may also be expected to undertake some PA support to the SVP and other senior managers.
For this busy role, you will need to have proven administration experience, fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese, proficiency in MS Office (including PowerPoint), strong demonstrable organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise.
Due to the nature of the office management aspect of the role, it is expected that the post-holder will be required to attend the office on a daily basis. However, we are happy to consider applicants who may require different working patterns.
