The Head of Acquisition will be responsible for ensuring Boden is a best-in-class customer and commercially centric organisation that drives profitable growth through effective new customer acquisition strategies.

They will find as many ways as possible, to spend as much money as possible, within the agreed economic model whilst providing clarity and confidence to internal stakeholders. They will experiment at pace for things that could drive growth / profit.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Acquisition
- Increase new customer volumes across all global territories and product divisions by maximising investment opportunities within differentiated maximum LTV:CAC allowable costs.
- Continually test new acquisition strategies and work with Finance to demonstrate clear incremental contribution that enables additional investment to drive growth.
- To create, communicate and execute acquisition plans across all channels (online and offline).
- Build confidence and credibility with the Board in the way acquisition budgets are measured, monitored and the budget is allocated.
- Identify opportunities and influencing change across the brand and digital proposition that can enhance engagement and conversion from new customers.

Performance Marketing
- Own digital media planning and execution across all customer cohorts with a deep understanding of best in-class platform, audience, product and creative strategies
- Deliver campaign performance metrics whilst maintaining brand elevation by working with the brand and creative teams to get assets that are on brand and deliver commercial response across different channels.
- Effective in-house, agency and mar-tech management with a focus on value creation in an era of automation.

Budget
- Responsible for all new customer media acquisition investment and the associated non-media costs and contracts for performance marketing partners.
- Responsible for creating and managing the annual acquisition budget in combination with the Head of Retention and Reactivation to deliver the overall growth ambitions aligned with Finance team.
- Continually monitor, optimise and test investment to maximise potential within the allowables.
- Managing external partnerships / agencies.

Team & People
- Provide strong leadership and coaching that develops talent through a balance of IQ and EQ within the framework of a wider company culture.
- To ensure the team are challenged, motivated and accountable for their areas of responsibility.
- Oversee External Agency relationships, ensuring they are delivering against expectation, SLA and on brand.

THE EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 10 years marketing experience, preferably within a DM brand/retailer/ecommerce business.
- Significant experience and proven understanding of commercial marketing in a brand (client side) clothing / fashion business.
- Experienced and focused on driving incremental uplifts withing within allowable costs.
- Proven experience of growth and performance in international markets (primarily US).
- A strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape with an understanding of how to navigate the best of machine learning and AI with the hacks that unlock unique brand value and competitive advantage.
