Travel Coordinator

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Responsible for managing the travel coordination of the firm's global business travel requirements. The role will support the Premises & Travel Operations Manager in managing relationships with both internal stakeholders and key suppliers and conducting related travel administration.
**DUTIES INCLUDE**:
The following list is not exhaustive but gives a flavour of the duties the Travel Coordinator will undertake:
Takes responsibility for the firm's end-to-end travel process (from the point of booking to, where appropriate, reimbursement by clients).
Responsible for managing any issues that arise before and during travel, ensuring that they are resolved quickly and effectively with escalation via the firms Travel Management Company as necessary.
Uses problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges that arise before / during and/or after the travel process
Coordinates and delivers travel reporting including the production of statistical, financial and environmental reports using a variety of reporting tools (including Business Intelligence tools).
Tracks and provides reporting on travel expenses, providing regular updates to management on travel costs, issues, and trends, ensuring that all travel arrangements are cost-effective and within the firms policies.
Coordinates work efficiently and effectively to meet the travel needs of the firm. This includes assigning tasks, and providing guidance and support as needed using the firms travel workflow management system.
